Guest friendly hotels Manila general information: The best guest friendly hotels in Manila are located close to nightlife. The main party areas to find bar girls and freelancers are the Ermita/Malate district and Makati. Makati is a business district with higher prices, but the best and safest area for a newbie.
Unlike Angeles, the price for the girl is not included in the bar fine. Most of the hotels in Manila are guest friendly, but not all. (some reports for non-guest friendly hotels – The Manila Hotel) All top guest friendly hotels Manila are 100% guest friendly, close to the action, and have high ratings on Agoda and Tripadvisor. The best option for transportation between Manila airport and Makati or Ermita/Malate areas is Grab taxi.
Guest friendly hotels Manila 2026 update
My best advice for 2026 is the same as last year: stay in Makati if you are not Korean. There are KTVs catering to Korean customers in Ermita/Malate, but other options are limited to LA Cafe and G-Point. As I mentioned last year, the LA Cafe has a new name and owner; it’s now Midnight Heaven, but it’s basically the same: mostly older freelancers, with a live band after 9 pm.
As I don’t like using taxis and being stuck in traffic for hours, my favorite hotels in Makati are City Garden Hotel Makati or City Garden Grand for midrange hotels, I’m Hotel for 5-star accommodation, or St. Gilles Hotel Makati for a budget option. All of them are in great condition and within a few minutes’ walk of the bars on Burgos Street. 1898 Hotel Colonia En Las Filipinas is also a solid choice. See more information below.
Burgos Street has the most girly bars if you don’t mind paying more for girls, and Lips, Kojax & Plan B, Duples and Maison are some of the better bars.
There are many freelancers online at more reasonable prices. The top three nightclubs in Makati for freelancers in 2026 are Buccaneers, Royal, and Secret Door.
Updates from previous years:
The staff at Hotel Sogo Makati doesn’t care much about IDs, and Raffles Makati officially confirmed that you can bring two visitors at a time free of charge. Hotel La Corona is closed. Oxford Suites is no longer part of the Best Western group, but it is still guest friendly.
Cafe Havana near the Greenbelt Mall is closed and LA Cafe is not like before. However, neither area is completely dead; there are some freelancers in both. Palm Hotel near LA Cafe is a nice budget guest friendly accommodation.
If not on a business trip, I would avoid Manila and go directly to Angeles. The hotels in Manila are better value than in Angeles City, but it is not a good value-for-money city for finding girls, and it has crazy traffic jams.
Manila bar girl prices 2026: The prices are even higher than last year, so for lady drinks, expect to pay from 400 to more than 1000 pesos in some girly gogo bars on Burgos Street. The barfines in Makati start from 4000 -4600 pesos in most bars to more than double in Fyre. For the girls, expect to pay 5000 pesos for a short time and 10,000 pesos for long time, as unlike in Angeles, the barfines don’t include the price for the girl. You can lower the price to 4000-6000, depending on what you are asking for and how long, if you meet the girls outside of their bars
Most girls at Midnight Heaven (LA Cafe) ask for 3000 pesos, but some are happy with 2500. Sadly, not many beautiful girls there.
You can get lucky on some dating apps like Tinder and WeChat and websites like pinalove and find a beautiful girl for 2500+ pesos or even for free. Massages with extras are 2500-3000, plus a 500-peso massage fee.
List of guest friendly hotels Manila
Top guest friendly hotels Manila – Makati
City Garden Hotel Makati **** $47+

It’s now my favorite hotel in the area. Perfect mid-range hotel within walking distance to Makati nightlife – Burgos Street. Its location, service, and amenities make it a great value for money. It’s less than a two-minute walk to the bars, and the side street is safe. There is a bank with security guards and a few money changers.
I stayed in one of their best executive deluxe rooms. They are large and clean, with comfy beds, desks, and in-room safes. The bathrooms are not huge, but they are clean and have bathtubs. There is also a rooftop pool, lounge, and restaurant with a spectacular city view. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and professional staff.
I’M Hotel ***** $89+

A few years ago, a bar girl told me: “Why don’t you book I’m hotel next time? It’s so much better.” Yes, I agree with her. It’s an excellent 5-star guest friendly hotel in a great location, within a 3-minute walk to Burgos Street. All rooms are huge, with sofas, very comfortable beds and smart TVs with movie channels. However, they don’t have smoking rooms, so if you are a smoker, you’d better book a suite room with a balcony. There are also nice facilities, such as a pool, spa, gym, and rooftop bar, which are already open.
1898 Hotel Colonia En Las Filipinas **** $56+

1898 Hotel Colonia is one of my favorite hotels in Makati. It’s located on Burgos Street within a few minutes’ walk of the bars. The rooms are nice and spacious, with good free Wi-Fi and in very good condition, unlike some other hotels in the area. However, it’s a noisy area, and if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on a higher floor. The beds are comfortable, and there is an in-room safe. The bathrooms have showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. A lot of choice for breakfast, but not much to the European taste. The pool is very good, with a restaurant next to it.
St. Giles Makati *** $33+

I stayed there recently. It’s a cheap hotel for a short stay near the most famous go go bars in Makati. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to Burgos Street. The hotel is spotless and safe. All rooms have good-sized beds, separate bathrooms and toilets, flat-screen TVs, an in-room safe, and two complimentary bottles of water, and tea and coffee-making facilities. The wifi works well. However, the superior rooms are tiny; book a deluxe room if you stay for more than a few nights. The swimming pool is big and clean. The security guys sometimes ask for your visitor’s ID, but they are not very strict about it.
Oxford Suites Makati *** $34+

An excellent option for a guest friendly hotel in the Manila, Makati area. Perfect location, right on Burgos Street in the heart of the action. The rooms are huge and nice with desks and LCD TVs. Higher-floor rooms are very quiet. Large bathrooms with bathtubs. Good aircons and wi-fi.
Raffles Makati ***** $335+

It’s probably the best guest friendly hotel in Manila if you can afford it. Moreover, not many hotels officially confirm that you can bring two visitors at the same time free of charge. Raffles is located right opposite Greenbelt Mall, a great spot to meet your online dates or even find some freelancers. It’s not very close to bars on Burgos Street (a 20-minute walk), but you can use Grab for cheap, secure transportation. The smallest room is a huge, stylish suite with a comfortable bed, seating area, and desk. There is also a nice swimming pool, gym, and rooftop bar.
Hotel Sogo – Makati Ave. ** $25+

The hotel has a great location, as P Burgos Street and the go go bars are just around the corner. Moreover, they have recently renovated the rooms, and unlike most other hotels in the area, they don’t check visitors’ IDs or vaccination certificates. However, the rooms are small but you get what you pay for. It’s a basic hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms.
Ascott Makati ***** $192+

It is the best five-star guest friendly hotel in the Makati area. The hotel is located atop Glorietta 4 mall – a huge shopping complex with many good dining options. Walking distance to Greenbelt and a short ride to Burgos Street. Large rooms with very comfortable beds. Excellent room amenities: free, fast Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a washer and dryer. Nice bathrooms with plenty of hot water. A large fitness center with decent equipment, large swimming pools, a sauna, and tennis. Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent service and security.
Royal Bellagio Hotel *** $42+

Excellent location right on Burgos Street in the heart of the nightlife. Everything you need is within walking distance. Also, a very safe place – many police patrols and guards on the street. Nice, clean rooms and excellent Wi-Fi. Great food. Friendly hotel staff.
Red Planet Makati *** $34+

Red Planet is a very good value for money option. Basic hotel, close to nightlife – literally one building behind Burgos Street. The hotel is a good value if you want a comfortable bed and a hot shower for a reasonable price. The rooms are small but new, clean, and modern, with free Wi-Fi.
Top guest friendly hotels Manila – Ermita/Malate
New Coast Hotel Manila ***** $98+

It’s an excellent 5-star guest friendly hotel in a great location in Malate, close to many bars. Moreover, LA Cafe and Robinsons Mall are both within a 3-minute walk. The hotel has large, well-maintained rooms and a huge swimming pool. All rooms also have clean bathrooms with bathtubs. Book a room on a higher floor for a fantastic city view. The staff are very friendly and professional, and the housekeeping is great.
Amelie Hotel Manila *** $47+

It’s a nice and clean hotel in a great location, less than a 5-minute walk to LA cafe and less than 3 to Robinsons Mall. Nothing fancy, but the rooms are large and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The bathrooms are clean with walk-in rain showers. The hotel also has a small gym and a rooftop swimming pool. Moreover, there is a small restaurant with a complimentary breakfast.
Hotel Kimberly *** $47+

Hotel Kimberly is another good option for a mid-range guest friendly hotel in the Ermita/Malate area, close to nightlife, malls and restaurants. Huge and clean rooms, comfy beds, a bathtub, and free wi-fi. Excellent buffet breakfast, smiling and helpful staff.
Hotel La Corona Manila *** $49+ (closed)

Update: The hotel is closed. Best Western Hotel La Corona is a great value for money mid-range guest friendly hotel and I stayed there twice. Walking distance to many attractions and nightlife –Robinsons, Ocean World, gun range, two blocks from LA Café and three blocks from MBC. Nice little park nearby. Safe area—no problem walking at night. Shuttle to Angeles nearby. Clean and spacious rooms with safe, fast and free Wi-Fi. Friendly staff, a good restaurant and excellent complimentary breakfast.
Red Planet Manila Mabini *** $26+

The best option for a cheap guest friendly hotel in the Ermita/Malate area and great value for money. It’s a basic hotel in a great location, close to nightlife. The rooms are small but clean, nice, and modern—with comfy beds, free and fast Wi-Fi, and a safe.
