I finally wrote a post about the Soi 6 bars Pattaya, and I’ll keep it updated. I’ll do my best, but the area has a vast amount of bars and their names, ownership and policy can change anytime.
Soi 6 bars Pattaya map and general information
In December 2025, Soi 6 in Pattaya has 91 bars on a street less than 400 meters long between Beach Road and Second Road, along with a few other businesses. The area is an essential part of Pattaya’s nightlife.
Most bars are open from early afternoon until 2 am and have 10 to 20 or more staff members. The staff are mostly girls, but some bars have a few ladyboys.
The bars have a similar operating model: girly bars, also called hostess/beer bars, downstairs, with short-time rooms usually on the second floor or nearby. You buy a drink for yourself and lady drink for the girl of your choice, pay a bar fine, and bring her upstairs. After the work is done, you pay the girl the agreed-upon amount.
Below is a complete map of all bars on Soi 6 in December 2025, along with their locations and a few additional businesses.

Soi 6 bars Pattaya reviews
There are a few groups that own several bars each, as well as many independent owners. The most famous bar groups are:
- Nightwish group
- Better group
- Baba group
Nightwish group bars
The Nightwish group has the most bars on Soi 6. They operate like the famous hotel chains; if you’ve been to one of their premises, you know what to expect in the others. All of them are front-open bars, and the prices are the same, on par with the street. The bars are well-managed, and there are no bill paddings. The Nightwish group has some of the best girls on the street, so apparently, they have great recruiters. Unlike some other bars, they don’t have a minimum lady drink requirement to barfine a girl, but the barfine is often cheaper if you buy at least one lady drink. There are no ladyboys inside their bars.
Better Group bars
Better Group includes Booty Call, Benders, Wet Six, Cooters, La La Land and Saigon Girl. It’s another group of typical front-open bars. The bars have many beautiful girls and excellent management. However, some of their short-time rooms, especially those at Benders, need serious renovation. If you like a girl from there, consider bringing her to your hotel. Better Group also doesn’t employ ladyboys.
Baba Group bars
Baba Group owns Good Fellas, Baba Bar, Tom Cats, Soi 6 Bar, and the Korean-style Oppa bar. However, the owner is from Iran. They often have high-quality girls to have fun with. The bar fines and going rates are typical for Soi 6, but the lady drinks are more expensive than average, at 200+ baht. There is also a minimum lady drink requirement to barfine a girl.
More Bars
Some of the best bars on Soi 6 that I recommend are:
Ruby Club
Ruby Club is one of the oldest and friendliest bars on Soi 6 with great management. All the staff are very friendly and there is absolutely no pressure for buying lady drinks. The drinks are on the cheaper side. You can have fun with the girls or meet many other tourists or expats. It seems that Ruby Club doesn’t operate as a guesthouse anymore and they use their nice and big rooms as short time rooms. They are huge and above the average standard for Soi 6.
Red Point Bar
Red Point is one of the few old-school closed-door bars still left on Soi 6. It’s one of Pattaya’s must-visit places. With its efficient air conditioning, the bar offers a great escape from the crowds and loud music outside. The customers have a choice ot have fun on the comfortable sofas or go with the girls upstairs. They have excellent short time rooms. The girls are pros, but they sit quietly outside and don’t try to drag you inside like most other bars these days. It’s up to you to decide.
Secret Garden Bar
Secret Garden is one of the newest and best hostess bars on Soi 6. The owner is a former manager of Nightwish Group and Better Group bars. He is a very friendly and enthusiastic guy and makes everyone feel welcome. It’s a perfect place for a shy first-time visitor. More than a dozen nice girls work there. It’s easy to see their photos on the Secret Garden bar Facebook page. The bar has excellent short-time rooms with en-suite showers.
Fire Bar
Fire is the second bar right next to Corner bar if entering Soi 6 from Second Road. It’s a well-managed bar with beautiful girls and excellent service. The bar has some of the best short-time rooms in the area with en-suite showers, excellent air conditioning, and no street noise inside. They also have a new white lightning, much better than the blue one. There is no minimum lady drink requirement, and the music is not loud.
Other businesses in the area
There are not many hotels on Soi 6 but Queen Victoria Inn is a cheap guesthouse right on this Street. It’s a nice place with a perfect restaurant serving great food, including a full English breakfast.

If you need to change money before exploring the area, at the beginning of Soi 6, on the Second Road side, there is a branch of TT Currency Exchange, a reputable business with great exchange rates.
Perry Kaffeine is an excellent place for coffee lovers with good air conditioning.
There are a few more businesses not listed on the map, including another tattoo studio, a pharmacy, and a few eateries.
Soi 6 bars Pattaya prices
Pattaya Soi 6 bar prices in 2025 are as follows: short-time bar fines are 400-500 baht, lady drinks are up to 210 baht in the most expensive places, usually less, and short-time going rates are mostly 1500-2000 baht. Customer drinks cost 80-130 baht on average, including beer and other drinks.
Long time bar fines and rates are probably the most expensive of all bars in Pattaya. Soi 6 is primarily a well-known area for short time fun. LT bar fines and going rates are often very high, comparable to those at the top Walking Street go go bars. The owners don’t want to lose their staff for long, and girls also prefer a few STs rather than one LT.

Soi 6 bar tips
- For many beautiful new girls in Pattaya, their first job is at the girly bars on Soi 6, and you can find them there before they move to the most expensive go go bars in Pattaya on Walking Street.
- In the early afternoon is a good time to visit Soi 6, the area is quieter, especially in the low season and you can even have a whole bar with all the girls for yourself.
- Evenings during the high season, December – February, are usually crowded, but it can be a lot of fun, with a great party atmosphere and a lively nightlife.
- Every bar has a different vibe, prices and more or less pushy girls. Walk around to get a feel for the area before choosing where to sit.
- Some bars introduced a lady drink minimum before barfining a girl.
- Confirm prices with the girl before barfining her and pay for her service after the job is done.
- Not all bars have short-time rooms with en-suite showers. Some showers are outside the rooms, and some are even on different floors.
- If you prefer better rooms, book a guest friendly hotel near Soi 6. Some of the best hotels in the area are the newly built Melia Hotel on Second Road, Mera Mare on Beach Road, or Pattaya Blue Sky on Soi 5 for cheaper accommodation.
- There is no dress code in the area. Many people wear tank tops and flip-flops, and it’s perfectly fine.
- Don’t be afraid to say no; many girls try to drag you to their bars. Just decline politely if you don’t like them—plenty of other girls along the street.
- Not many bars on Soi 6 have ladyboys these days. If that’s what you are looking for, there are some of them in Solo Club and Thai Rose.
- Use the cheap baht bus for transportation to and from Soi 6. There are plenty of baht buses along Second Road and Beach Road, and the price is still ten baht each way. Another cheap option if you prefer private transportation is using the Bolt app.
- Although the neighboring Soi 6/1 is more famous for its Ladyboy bars, some Soi 6 bars also employ them. Therefore, if it’s not what you want, better double-check in advance.
- To avoid unpleasant situations, always obtain consent before filming customers and bar staff.
- Never argue aggressively over a small amount of money. If something on the bill looks wrong, question it calmly and firmly. An aggressive reaction could lead to security involvement and being banned from multiple bars.
- The tip is not expected, but the staff will be happy. Tip fairly if you had a good time.
- Watch the traffic as you walk to avoid getting hit. Soi 6 is not a pedestrian zone; there are many cars and bikes.
