Acqua Hotel Pattaya is guest friendly and nice new accommodation in Central Pattaya near LK Metro and Second Road. I stayed there twice in two different rooms, so you can check my review and pics below. Click on photos to enlarge. You can check also my full list of guest friendly hotels in Pattaya.

Location
Acqua Hotel has a great location near LK Metro at the back of Soi Honey but has direct access to it. It’s also near Second Road, so you can easily get the baht bus to Soi 6. However, it’s a fifteen-minute walk to Walking Street or a short moto/taxi ride. There are many bars, massage places and restaurants nearby and Tree Town is right at the back of the hotel.
Rooms
All rooms are clean, new and fresh but some are much bigger than others. Superior rooms are much cheaper but tiny. They are too small for my taste.
However, their bathrooms are nice and clean with all toiletries provided but no bathtubs. The bathrooms are not very small with separate showers and toilets.
Deluxe rooms are great. I stayed in one of their executive deluxe rooms and they were worth the extra money. Executive rooms are much bigger with more amenities.
The beds are big and good enough for a night’s sleep. There are enough electrical outlets near the bed to charge your devices. The sitting area is very nice with a sofa, chair and table and huge smart TV.
Executive deluxe rooms have two desks, one of them very large, and a big closet with hanging rails and drawers for your clothes. There is also a new modern in-room safe and hair dryer.
Two bottles of water are provided daily and there is a kettle for coffee and tea. The new fridge is quiet but empty. So you have to buy food and drinks from outside or call the room service.
Bathrooms are big, clean and stylish with separate showers and toilets. The showers are great with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. There is also a bathtub. All necessary toiletries are provided and they are very nice.
The balconies are small with one chair and table and most of them have no views. However, there are few on higher floors with a partial view of the area.
The aircon is efficient but a little louder than my taste. The Wi-Fi signal is great and no need to log in every day. The room access is by keycard and you also need the card for the electricity.
Room tips: Almost all rooms have limited or no views but the rooms on a higher floor are quieter. Book a deluxe or executive deluxe room, as the superior rooms are small.
Facilities & Staff
The hotel has a decent rooftop pool and Jacuzzi and a big rooftop area with a bar and many sun loungers. I loved the magnificent rooftop views of the city. The staff provides towels. The gym and sauna are nice too.
The restaurant is classy and the breakfast is tasty with plenty of choices. However, there are many eating options nearby.
The hotel elevator is fast, so no waiting time.
The staff are helpful and polite and make you feel very welcome. They help you with the luggage and the check-in is very quick. They also let me check in earlier at no extra cost.
The security is very good, so you can feel safe all the time. The doorman opens the door for you as you approach.
Acqua Hotel Pattaya guest friendly policy
Acqua Hotel Pattaya is guest friendly if you book a room for two people and stay alone.
Official policy: “If you stay only one our hotel has no charge for the visitor but if you stay 2 people and take someone to your room Hotel charge 500 per person.”
My experience: The receptionists ask for visitor IDs in a very polite way and there are no joiner fees. You get a call from the reception when your guest leaves to make sure everything is ok.
Price
Superior rooms are much cheaper but small. The low season rates start from $35. However, deluxe rooms cost more but they are bigger and better.
